Professional development opportunities coming up in January

November 17, 2017
Posted by Saskia Scott on November 17, 2017

Professional development

We’ve got professional development workshops in multiple locations at the end of January 2018. We’ll be down in Albany on the 29th and 30th doing primary workshops. Plus, a secondary one on the 30th January.

In the metro area, we’ll be going to Woodlupine on the 29th for a primary workshop. On the 30th, we’ll be a little further east out in York for a combined K-12 session.

There are only a few weeks left to book, so get in quick!

How are you using the resources?

Have you used any of the resources in your school? We’d love to hear how it’s going. You can now get in touch via our contact page or on Twitter @STEMLearningWA. We’ve already seen some cool photos from West Beechboro Primary who are doing Most magnificent thing with their students.

Our ‘Most Magnificent Things’ are coming along nicely in year 2… we are repurposing rubbish to make things of value to us… pic.twitter.com/9pi5NhAfZv

We’d love to see a conversation happening around how to best use the resources, particularly in secondary school. Share your tips with other teachers using #STEMlearningWA or our Twitter handle. Don’t forget to tune into the #PrimarySTEMChat on Thursday 5:30pm and #HighschSTEM on Mondays at 5:30 as well. These two chats are for general STEM teaching conversations with other teachers around the world.

Last of all, if you could help us out by sharing photos or having filming conducted at your school, please let us know!
